My name is RACHEL Lunn and I started the nail and beauty industry in 2003. Since then I have worked and trained with some of the biggest brands and nail techs in the world. I started with a beginners nail course and it all exploded from there.
I trained with Creative nail design in 2003 and went onto complete levels 2 and 3 in beauty therapy before moving onto my teaching career in 2006 and completed my teaching qualifications at university. My work has lead to some amazing opportunities including tv work such as the “x factor” and being part of the teams at London fashion week .my favourite place to work is either my salon or teaching new and eager students.
I also took the title of Scratch magazine educator of the year - the highest accolade within the uk nail industry. I still write the odd article now and then for magazines and trade.
As an independent educator, I hope to offer an unbiased route into nails , and offer all potential students choices to suit a wide range of budgets .All products used are of the highest standard and either manufactured in the USA or Europe for the ultimate safety aspect.
All of our courses are accredited by ABT - The association of beauty therapists for full industry recognition and insurance purposes.
I have designed the courses with theory and practical elements , but most of all value for money. The industry is a minefield and I can direct students on their pathway to success.
We offer all levels of nail courses from beginners to advance .We provide all products to use on your days at the training centre .No kits are required except for the 3 /4 day acrylic course for homework. Your place can be secured by a small booking fee and payable in instalments to suit the individual, as long as payments are completed 48 hours before course commences.
During your course , you are welcome to come into the salon to shadow me work as well as complete your case studies in the training room for a more realistic peaceful environment which is already set up for you to work.
All of courses are thorough and extensive and do not compromise on quality . I contacted Rachel a few years ago because I wanted to brush up on my nail extensions as felt wasn’t feeling confident in my ability as a nail technician. So I completed a couple of her training programs such as the E File training and the refresher acrylic application training course. It’s honestly the best decision I’ve made. Rachel is so friendly she has such bubbly personality, which puts you at ease from the moment you walk through the door.
I love her training style as she is so patient and explains everything so clearly so you leave the course feeling confident and excited to put your new skills to the test in your own salon. I can’t thank her enough for her constant support. She’s always just a message away if I need any advice. I’ve since gained a lot of new clients in my salon and my nail treatments are flying out!
